Welcome to my Practice

With over three decades of experience in the broad field of psychiatry, I want you to know that I am committed to providing you with the highest quality of consultation services. I’ve created this website to give you access to information about how I work and think. If you have a deeper interest in any of the topics I can refer you to further resources. 

My practice is unique in that I offer talk therapy in addition to medications where appropriate. I can work with all members of the same family or relationship group - including adolescents (when their parent or parents are involved), individual adults of all ages, and couples. And as a teacher once said " the fewer mental health professionals involved, the better the outcome.” I find that having a broad perspective in working with several members of the same family or both members of a couple (many times individually and together) that I can remain more neutral while lending a helping hand. 

Highly experienced in televideo psychiatry/psychotherapy, I find it offers convenience and privacy from your home, office, or while traveling as long as you are in Iowa, Colorado, or Missouri, where I am licensed.

Regarding Fees: Fees are negotiable:   Regular fees are  $300 for the first session - up to one hour and $200 for follow-up sessions up to 45 minutes.  Each session is paid at the time of service via your credit card that my software will keep on file.  ***** But please note:   my fees are also negotiable for those unable to afford the regular fees.  We will discuss when you contact me.

I will send you a packet of materials that may take up to just 10 minutes to complete and will be automatically sent back to me. After you have completed the forms (please do so within 24 hours of receipt), I will contact you to set up an appointment. I am on central time.
